Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. Your expertise in logistics and supply chain management will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our organization.

Duties:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics, including procurement, transportation planning, and warehouse management
- Oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and sourcing new vendors as needed
- Utilize data analysis skills to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process and implement solutions
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize materials handling to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between departments
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related information
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

Experience:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and sourcing strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with transportation planning and logistics operations
- Forklift certification is a plus
